I am SOOOOOOOO sorry I haven’t posted in ages! We need to keep our amazing (I’m sure you guys are amazing) viewers happy and laughing. If you don’t laugh at this post, please remind yourself that it is not its sole purpose and we will not have any bad feelings at all for you (even though we will have no idea whether you were (or are) laughing or not).
Of course, the purpose of a post is to make you laugh.
SPOILER ALERT: I love writing and often pose writing challenges for you, just so you know.
Ok. Let’s start again.
Of course, the purpose of a post is to make you laugh. Therefore, I write one simple, possibly hilarious, possibly confusing and possible completely normal sentence:
As the sun set, I looked over at the tortoise in the cage next to my bed and gave it a carrot, for I had no idea what it would do tonight.
Have a go at writing a short story or short scenario using this sentence. THE SENTENCE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AT THE START. Have fun and let your creativity flow!
Ok, so you have probably guessed what this post is about. If not you will work it out soon. Ok, so lets get straight into it!!!
Camp: We all had camp from Monday to Wednesday, it was OK. Not the best, not the worst. But I’m sure that the other giggle girls can tell you more, for any more questions about camp just reply to this post!
Cold and Cough: After camp I got a cold, it started with a sore throat and runny/blocked nose, now it is endless coughing fits and uncontrollable sneezing. I am fine but just feel quite blocked up.
You probably just had a giggle at that title. If you didn’t, relax. I didn’t either. Okay, so what I want you to do is tell me what ‘The Grasslands of the Desert’ are, or maybe tell me a way to express how they are?
I’ll choose my favourite one and post it up as soon as I can!
I just got back from rowing camp with my friend Sophie. I’m slightly sad because the end of rowing camp mean that school is about to start again! This afternoon I am going on ANOTHER camp for my church. I’m going into Year 7 and so is Sophie. Now I have a few questions…
1. Have you gone on any camps these holidays?
2. Have your holidays already finished?
3. What year/grade are you going into?
And here are my answers…
3. I am going into Year 7!
I hope you guys have had a great new year.
P.S. I’ve just noticed I’m the first giggly post in the new year!
Today is CHRISTMAS!!
I am actually writing from my new iPod I got for Christmas via the edublogs app! It’s free and saves heaps of time trying to log onto the computer (definitely recommend it!) and as I mentioned before… IT’S FREE!!
Now, have a look at this video that shows what happened on the very first Christmas… but with a bit of a modern twist…
What makes you know that it’s Christmas? Is it the christmas music in the shopping centres? Or the baubles that your local supermarket sells? Is it the fact that your snooty big brother is acting all secretive about his and your mother’s trip to the clothing store, or the christmas tree being put up in your house?
It’s 7 days until Christmas Day, and the shops are still buzzing with people shopping for last minute gifts, or just casually shopping. What do you want for Christmas? I really really really really want a lifesize Yoshi.
Yoshi, from Super Mario Bros, but lifesize. See the Nintendo D.S? That’s how big it is compared to that.
Yes, that is what I want for Christmas. A bit crazy, I know, but I am just naturally crazy.
Ok, you may be thinking ‘What is up with that CRAZY title?’ Well I’ll tell you whats up! I am going to tell you what all those words mean with some PICS and then what happens when you mix them together!
Pasta – Unleavened dough, made of wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs, that is molded into any of a variety of shapes and boiled.
Bubbles – A thin, usually spherical or hemispherical film of liquid filled with air or gas
Octopi – A plural of octopus.
So if you mix them together it is a:
So, tell me… What are your 3 fvorite things and what are they mixed together?
